To have one of these made just for you is indescribable, worth the wait, and this one to me looks to be MS 70, perfect in every way, ever since I collected mint peace dollars I always felt the 64 should have been minted.

Truly a piece of history in hand

Just knowing that this came at a time when the US Mint decided to stop using silver in their currencies. Knowing that this was struck by Daniel Carr there is no question about the quality and strike of this fine example of what a 1964 Peace Dollar would look like. You never cease to amaze me with your work Dan! Thank you so much for being here and staying true to a lost art! I've been highly disappointed with a few coins that I got from the US Mint in recent years because the quality is just not there and so many of their proofs are riddled with milk spots. I will definitely be sharing this work of art with many friends and family!

Everything's There

It looks like what a Peace Dollar rolled off the mint yesterday could look like. I looked at it once and don't want to scuff it. Fun treasure, have to handle it super carefully though.

This restrike of the 1964-D peace dollar (die pair 9) is absolutely mesmerizing. I now hold in my hand the the most sought after modern coin. Dan is a genius/an amazing artist, and someone who gets what it is all about.

Incredible artisanship
Jared Grove (Ardmore, PA) 3/3/2020 11:40 AM
Mr. Carr has perfected this rendition with exceptional quality to detail. No indication of ghosting is evident even under loupe magnification, with these examples being perfectly aligned. The strike was applied with exacting force, as not to overly stress the metal, while still allowing for precision cartwheel luster and depth of fill. Hats off to this newest favorite coming out of Moonlight Mint!
