"1933" Native-Head Brass (normal raised-relief concept), high grade
|
Out of stock
Item Number: CT_NH_500_1933_bs
|
This item represents a "what would it look like ?" scenario if the Native Head $5 Half Eagle was minted with a normal raised relief instead of the sunken relief.
Also, 1933 is a notorious year for American gold coinage with the confiscation of the 1933 $20 gold Double Eagles and the very limited production of 1933 Native-Head $10 gold Eagles. After 1916, the only Native-Head $5 gold Half-Eagle produced was the (rare) 1929 issue.
Struck on brass blanks.

Dan keeps coming out adding to his greatest hits. Immaculately presented and actually looks better than the description and pics . As always, I’m “ecstatically impressed”.

What a great, unique version of this coin. Couldn't be happier to make this my 100th fantasy coin by Mr. Carr.
