Alternate State Quarters
Noted state quarter designer Daniel Carr is releasing a new series of commemorative statehood “CARRter Dollars”. These are designs which, in one form or another, were under consideration by the various states for their quarters, but were not adopted for the actual coins. Two versions of each are available - one with a standard nickel-copper composition (like regular quarters) and a very limited edition with a yellow brass composition.
All of the Altered States quarters share a common "heads" side design which shows the man himself, along with an interlocked “DC” designer's logo. More are on the way (see below).
