Ingots with vintage/antique marking devices applied.
Every bar in this category has a serial number starting at 001 in the order that the bars were produced. For identification purposes, the serial numbers are preceded by a 3mm round DC circle logo punch. Every bar in this group is unique in some way, either by weight, design, layout, and/or fabrication technique. A particular marking device may be used for only one impression or possibly up to about a dozen impressions.
These bars are, in some respects, similar to Dennis England ingots that were produced circa 2000. However, these Daniel Carr ingots utilize vintage/antique marking devices whereas Dennis England bars had newly-fabricated marking devices. Dennis England bars have recently been selling for over $1,000 even for one or two ounce silver.
