Some evidence of underlying host coin design may be visible. Housed in a non-PVC flip and includes a small certificate.
A surplus Denver Mint coin press is used in the over-striking process.
Over-struck on Flying Eagle copper-nickel cents of 1857-1858.
No Flying Eagle cents were produced after 1858.
NOTE: Defacing of US coins is legal so long as the defacement isn't for fraudulent purposes.

To the naked eye my coin looks to me to be a flawless over-strike worth every penny!
