Fantastic High-Relief Strike!

What an amazing fantasy strike. The definition of the high-relief is very noticeable under the loupe, with a visible curve around the rims. It's something unique that you won't see even on the 1921 Peace Dollar. Love the meaningful year of 1945, a great "what-if" commemoration of peace. Great for someone who really wants to enjoy the Peace Dollar design and visualize the "broken sword" original reverse. Really enjoy it!

Incredible overstrike as always! A great time to issue a commemorative of Peace such as this, and a truly amazing piece of "what if?" to hold.

Daniel Carr is well-known for his fantasy dates and overstrikes of genuine U.S. Mint coins. This coin answers the question of what if the U. S. Mint decided to issue the Peace Dollar again in 1945 to celebrate the end of the Second World War. The year also saw the formation of the United Nations and greater global peace-keeping efforts. The coin is expertly crafted, struck over a genuine Peace Dollar coin so that it maintains the same specifications as those struck 1921-1935. It is a commemorative that never was.

Thanks once again Dan for creating another masterpiece. My 1945 Peace Dollar actually appears superior in quality to the description and pics you have shown! Now when and where does that ever happen nowadays? Gotta Love that. 👍⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
